recently i've recognized that some of my favourite authors were rather troubled
and i suppose it's known that artistic people can be so - for their sensitivity - that which lends fuel to their gift is also a bit of a cross to bear
so be it
if only they had found solace or comfort and kept at their craft

Vincent VanGogh - Starry Night
(Murray McLaughlin sang a nice song by same name)

Virginia Woolf - To the Light House

Sylvia Plath - Lady Lazarus

a friend of mine too
though i rather believe his drowning to have been accidental

let us be kind and gentle with one another
though we may have differences of opinion, and outlook what in the end does it really matter - these trials and tribulations are but small bumps in life

i would rather sail on less turbulent waters by choice then have the winds blow storms unecessarily -- by choosing to see more of the positive we can feel and be better

i have realized of late i had cocooned myself for a long time in the past, hanging on to old painful memories and unwilling to let new life really live inside of me
perhaps, with steady effort i might finally let those old ghosts die for they have haunted me plenty long enough now in this lifetime

a bientot mes amis, have a wonderful weekend!
ciao
